About Aaron Fairchild
I am energized working within and guiding teams to create frameworks that help organizations and their people grow, scale, and positively manage the change that transformational growth requires. As the founding CEO of Green Canopy NODE, I ran the company for 15 years through new market expansions, business model adjustments, vertical integrations, rounds of preferred offerings, COVID, a merger, and market cycles. This required utilizing change management frameworks and heuristics to help positively support people in peak productivity regardless of the circumstances. In addition to Green Canopy NODE, and in community with many like-minded people I also co-founded the Nehemiah Initiative, Cambia Capital, and the Field Order 15 Fund in the effort to help working communities develop compelling programs, highly productive teams, and aligned funding.
Poetry entered my journey through the energetic and engaging efforts of my high school English teacher, Gary Plano. Beginning with Coleridge’s “Kubla Khan,” I have traveled a range of poetry and poets, and I’m grateful there is still so much more to read and learn! Along the journey I’ve sought to align my life, experiences, and unique skill sets (writing, banking, construction, etc.) with my passion to create a positive environmental and social impact during my short life. In the pursuit of positive impact, I have sought to better understand how to navigate change and transformation within so that I can better serve communities in their collective journey.
